Over the summer, it was announced every Office 365 user is able to have premium features with Flipgrid. And now Flipgrid can be tied to your Canvas courses.
As an Assignment
Once connected, you can send out discussion prompts, or topics, to your students and students are able to easily record audio and video responses to the topic. These topics can be sent out as an assignment. Canvas will breakdown the students responses so that each student can earn a grade for their response the the Speedgrader features of Canvas.
