When researching places or events, a fun addition to the project would be to create a fake selfie of you and/or your students at the event. Creating a Fake Selfie is unbelievably easy with Remove.bg and PowerPoint.
Remove.bg is an online tool that will take any image you upload and remove the background from it. It has the ability to recognize people, leave them, and remove the rest of the photo. You are left with an image you can download that only shows the people.
This image can then be layered in front of another image in PowerPoint, then resized and positioned so that it looks like you are actually there!
