What is Padlet?
Padlet is an online “virtual bulletin board” where students and teachers can collaborate, reflect, & share links/pictures in a secure location. Padlet is available across all devices, so engaging students is super-simple. Additions to the board are visible in real-time & changes are saved automatically. The days of asking for Post-it Notes are gone, thanks to Padlet!
Example
Here’s an example of how one teacher used Padlet to collect a summary sentence of “what was learned” by each student, as well as a means to find out what students still found confusing.
How to Get Started
- Log into Padlet using your Microsoft Office 365 Credentials (lcisd email and password)
- Choose a pre-made template or start with a blank slate
- Add contributors (co-authors) and permissions
- Share the Padlet with a link, QR code or embed it straight into Canvas.
